Thorney Park Golf Club is committed to increasing its membership and enhancing the facilities available to members. Investments are on-going in practice facilities, state of the art cutting machinery, improvements to the golf course, clubhouse facilities and a management team both on and off the course dedicated to achieving and maintaining the highest possible standards for members and visitors to ensure members remain dedicated to Thorney Park Golf Club and are proud to introduce prospective members.
We also appreciate that golfer’s lifestyles are changing and leisure time is becoming more difficult. In today's fast moving society, some people cannot justify annual membership fees because they don't have the chance to play enough golf or can only play at weekends. We have implemented additional membership categories to cater for this market along with affordable golf memberships that have payments structured to meet everybody’s needs. RECIPROCAL RIGHTS – PLAY 3 COURSES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!
Another great reason to become a member of Thorney Park Golf Club is the reciprocal rights programme. At Thorney Park we have reciprocal rights at Elstree Golf Club and Magnolia Park Golf and Country Club. As a member you are entitled to free green fees and 2 weeks booking rights for off peak tee times at both clubs. The off peak agreement is for weekdays between 11am and 3pm and weekends after 2pm. You are required to produce your swipe card with your membership tag at the proshop to receive your free green fee. If you have participated in the Laleham reciprocal rights programme you will be entitled to free golf (within your membership category) anytime excluding weekends before noon in the peak season and 11am in the low season. Again your swipe card must be produced at the pro shop to qualify.

TEE-TIME BOOKINGS
Our new modern website has recently been introduced which enables you to book your tee times online. As a member of the club, we give you the priority when booking tee-times. You can book 14 days in advance and sign in three guests at any one time. Non-members are only able to book up to 7 days. A further benefit to the membership is member and their guest’s only tee-times at the weekends until noon in the summer months and 11am in the off season.

NEWSLETTERS
The club produces newsletters on a regular basis to keep you informed on all golf and social matters.

PRACTICE FACILITIES
Alongside the 10th hole is a covered practice area for you to perfect your swing. Practice nets and a putting green are also available for use close to the 1st tee. A designated chipping area is at the bottom of the putting green.

SOCIAL GOLF AND INTER CLUB COMPETITIONS
For the serious golfer we have a full calendar of club competitions run by the members’ committee throughout the year. On the social golf side, we hold regular Saturday and Sunday morning roll ups (excluding competition days). Members’ and their guests are welcome for these fun events so please register in the clubhouse on Saturday at 7:30am and Sunday at 08:00am if you want to join in. Weekday morning roll ups are also in action, please speak to the Proshop for further information on these.
To really get the most out of your membership keep an eye on the notice boards around the club for details of competitions and social events. Not only do these add extra enjoyment to your membership, but are an excellent way of meeting fellow golfers and an enjoyable time is always guaranteed. Thorney Park participates in local golf leagues and inter-club matches giving you the opportunity to represent the club in home and away fixtures.

SWIPE CARDS
A swipe card system is in operation at the club. Swipe Cards will be issued to all members of the Club to enable them to book their tee times at the Proshop. The Swipe Card will also allow a discount of 5% on all bar and food purchases in the Clubhouse

INSURANCE
As a golfer you are potentially liable for golf shots that cause injury or damage whilst playing or practising at Thorney Park Golf Club. This is another area close to our hearts as we are all aware of the damage a golf ball can do from that odd wayward shot! As an addition to the benefits of being a member or guest at Thorney; we provide free Liability Insurance.
