of anyone who visits the Website. This Privacy Statement sets out the policy
adopted Thorney Park Golf Ltd. towards the collection and use of information
obtained from those visiting and using this site. By visiting or using the
Website you consent to the collection and use by Thorney Park Golf Ltd. of
information about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and
this Privacy Statement.
When registering with the site, completing a Contact Information Form or
contacting us by e-mail, we obtain personal information (eg user's name,
info@thorneypark.com address, postal address, telephone numbers, etc.) from
you. This information will be held on our database and will be kept secure.
The information will not be not be made available for sale, and shall not be
shared with third parties except where:-
you have consented; or there is a legal requirement to do so
The personal information is used for notifying customers and partners of
future updates to our products or services.

Terms and conditions (for online bookings)
These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our
Internet booking facility:
. All prices are in £’s
. Full payment will be taken at time of booking.
. Cancellations can only be made by the following methods: email, phone or
in person at the golf shop (info@thorneypark.com).
. A refund will only be given if the booking is cancelled with a minimum of
72 hours notice It is not possible to obtain a refund if the booking is
cancelled within 72 hours of the Tee Time.
. Please report to Pro shop at least 20 minutes before play.
. Club dress code must be adhered to
It is expected that all your players can play to a reasonable standard and
will not hold up play. Each player must have a set of clubs, proper footwear
and is expected to know and comply with the normal etiquette of golf.
Once you have confirmed your booking online and paid the appropriate amount
per person, we will then email you your booking confirmation, which will
show the amount paid. At this point your binding contract will come into
existence. We expect all of our visitors to print a copy of their booking
confirmation to produce as proof of purchase when they arrive at the golf
club. Failure to produce the confirmation at sign-in may result in the club
not honouring your booking.
Please check the confirmation carefully as soon as you receive it paying
special attention to the tee time and the number of players booked. Contact
us immediately if any information, which appears on the confirmation or any
other document, appears to be incorrect or incomplete as it may not be
possible to make changes later. We do not accept liability for errors
notified to us after the tee time has passed.
If you are unable to play your round of golf because the course was closed
due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances you will be offered an
alternative date. If no satisfactory alternative date can be agreed between
the two parties a full refund will be made.
Credit Card Security
Using your credit card to make purchases via our web site is a secure way to
pay for your golf. We have put a number of security steps in place to give
you, the customer, total confidence when booking your golf over the
Internet.
All personal details as well as credit card information, is kept
confidential through the use of secure server software (SSL). This means
that information can only be exchanged between you and us, and that no third
party can access this data. The padlock symbol on your browser shows which
pages are covered by this security system.
All credit/debit card details are stored in an encrypted format, which
requires a decryption key to view. Only we have knowledge of this key.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
Health & Safety of Members, employees and visitors is taken seriously at the
Club and as such you and your party are asked to observe all signs and
notices displayed in the Club and on the course. All members of your party
must have a general knowledge of the Rules of golf and must never place
their own or other persons safety at risk whilst at the Club and on the
course in particular.
Amendment To A Booking
The person whose credit/debit card was used to make the booking is the only
person authorised to alter the online booking.
Booking Transferable
The booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to
make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a
family member or friend.
. We operate a zero tolerance rule to bad behaviour either on the course or
in the clubhouse.
. Keep up with the game in front and or wave through players behind.
. Keep off any roped or painted GUR area, replace all divots
. Repair all pitch marks you see or make.
. Take upmost care not to endanger any other players using the course.
We have tried to make the booking process as straight forward as possible to
use, so that you can find out the information you need and apply for your
booking with ease.
You will be guided through a five (5) stage process with the current stage
indicated at the top of each page.
Your booking is only confirmed if once you have reached the last stage of
the process.
